What do you get?
1. Quantity Fragment – You are free to choose how many nursery table you would like to sponsor. Your efforts, at the very least, contribute to the success of our mission to restore and preserve the natural ecology of Redang Island. Each table contains 200 coral fragments
2. Sponsor Name – Each sponsored table will display the sponsor’s name for one year. This serves as our appreciation to every sponsor, ensuring that all visitors to Redang Island are aware that each table has its own sponsor, and one of them is your company.
3. Planting Coral – We will planting the coral fragment for you. Each seedling produced incurs costs for maintenance, and those costs you have covered. The process begins with selecting healthy coral colonies around the table for producing coral fragments. These coral are then brought to the water’s surface for the cutting and seeding process onto specialized seeding plug before being placed onto the nursery table.
4. Cleaning & Monitoring – Every coral fragment produced will be monitored, maintained, and measured by us to ensure optimal growth rates. This is also done for record-keeping and research purposes
5. Coral Restoration – Once the coral fragment have matured, they will be taken to the affected areas for restoration activities. Coral fragment typically mature in approximately 4-6 months, depending on the species.
